COVID-19 POLICY
PRESENT POLICY
As of today, New York City is open! NYCZF will be following all NYC guidelines regarding COVID-19 during the time of this event as well as venue guidelines. As of now masks and social distancing are no longer mandated in New York City including Vaccination status. However that does not mean that things can change. We reserve the right to change any COVID-POLICY at the time of purchase to change as NYC guidelines get updated. Please follow all NYC guidelines regarding COVID-19 Policy.
UPDATED POLICY
NYC has not changed its guidelines since our last present policy. Therefore, NYCZF will be following all NYC Guidelines regarding COVID-19. To date the current state is masking is optional and social
- NYC has lifted the requirements on being vaccinated for indoor settings, recreational, fitness, etc, as well as social distancing.
- Assess your RISK and determine based upon the transient nature and gathering of this festival if this poses a risk to your current health.
- We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you test before the festival especially if you have symptoms. If you are positive STAY HOME!
- If you have any SYMPTOMS such as cough, runny nose, fever STAY HOME!
- Masks are optional however recommended especially if you are around immunocompromised people at home, work or are traveling. It is optional and recommended to where a high-qaulity mask in indoor setting and crowds outside.
- Please wash your hands and sanitize as much as possible and take breaks outside.
RISK ASESSMENT
Before partner dancing, it is important that you assess your risk to yourself and others. As suggested by professionals and the CDC, if you are immunocompromised or living/interacting with unvaccinated individuals as well as those who are elderly and
immunocompromised despite vaccination status it is best to limit interactions OR quarantine before seeing them. This reminder and check-in is helpful to ensure you and your family and friends are safe and well. Organizers can not guarantee that you will not get infected, so assessing your risk is one way to ensure your wellness.
