Description of Pass Types

This pass includes 3 Days/Evenings  of Zouk including Intermediate to  Advanced Workshops, evening Themed Parties, Performances, Access to see Competitions, and access to Private bookings. 

**It does not include Professional Continued Development Workshops on Friday.

**It does snot include the DARE TO ZOUK Program

**It does not inlcude the Thursday Night preparty.

**It does not include the Jack and Jill

If you are looking to grow in your learning and knowledge for ZOUK, then this is the pass for you. Classes will range in International/National Instruction for Intermediate to Advanced Dancers in all types of Zouk including Rio-Style, LambaZouk, and Stylized/Neo Zouk.   With over 40 Local, National, and International Artists, submerge yourself in technique, style patterns, and skills you will receive at NYC-ZF2019!  

Brazil is home to many  featured artists, and we are fortunate to have some coming, not to mention NYC's very own Instructors, who will be mixing it up with something different you may have not seen. 

Please Note*** Due to firecode restrictions and capacity in New York City,  we will be limiting again this year our passes.

If you are NEW TO ZOUK, then we highly recommend this program for you. Learning a new dance can be challenging due to environment, people, and arrrangement of the dance. Keeping this in mind, the NYC ZOUK FESTIVAL has designed a program to foster your learning in a progressive and comfortable environment so you learn with your start group.  The D2Z Program includes a syllabus and Playlist so that you can begin dancing Zouk after you complete the D2Z Camp. 

This Dare to ZOUK (D2Z pass) gets you access to all three days of Dare To Zouk (D2Z) Workshops and Parties.  This includes a total about 11 Workshops and 3 Evening parties suited to those who just starting out in ZOUK or want to explore the basics.  Workshops will be guided during the day by a 6 hour D2Z Zouk Camp that is given by some of the best instructors in NY and 4 supplemental workshops given by visiting instructors.

If you are new to Zouk or curioius about the dance and our growing fun loving community, then this is the pass for you. DARE TO ZOUK and come learn what Brazilian Zouk is about!!!

If you are craving something more in your learning and would like more in-depth knowledge then this may be the pass for you as it will contain elements of both the FULL FESTIVAL and CPD PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPEMNT PASS. Save more when you purchase in a bundle rather than separate.

Both Considered Masters of their craft and have contributed greatly to the Brazilian Zouk and Lambada scenes over the past several years.  Learn truly the evolution of the dance and how it evolved and spend time with some of these great instructors who have shaped the scene to what it has grown to today.  

NYC ZOUK FESTIVAL 2019 will be holding its third Official Brazilian Zouk Dance Council Jack and Jill.  We will be running Novice and Intermediate JNJs.  The Brazilian Zouk Dance Council is a third party organization that serves, promotes, and supports all aspects of Brazilian Zouk and encourages the dance throughout the world.  We are happy to announce that we will be following the format of the BZDC, which has a structured way of running the jack and Jill.  Points will be provided to contestants as long as a minimum of 40 students participate in the competition. Depending upon sign-ups, we will run novice and intermediate J&J. We will be hosting both NOVICE AND INTERMEDIATE competitions.

Be Sure to Purcahse Either a LEAD PASS OR FOLLOW PASS.
